volofin Capital Management Ltd. Completes $446 Million Aviation Loan ABS Securitization - VFIN 2026-1
VFIN 2026-1 issued approximately $446 million of notes (including approximately $25 million of residual interest notes retained by volofin), the proceeds of which were used to acquire lender interests in a portfolio of 23 aviation loan facilities originated by volofin.
“We are extremely proud to complete this transaction. It represents another significant accomplishment for volofin as a repeat issuer,” said Bob Peart, Executive Chairman of volofin. “The ability to secure a AAA rating from both Morningstar DBRS and KBRA, together with the strong endorsement from a prominent group of institutional investors, is a testament to the strength of the volofin platform, our track record and our position in the market. The completion of our second Loan ABS offering in a volatile macro environment reinforces our solid access to the capital markets and volofin’s leading position in the commercial aviation lending space.”
volofin will act as servicer for the transaction. BNP Paribas served as sole lead bookrunner and, together with volofin, as co-structuring agent. Guggenheim Securities served as co-manager. Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP served as counsel to volofin and the Issuers, while Milbank LLP served as underwriter counsel. Maples Fiduciary Services (Ireland) Limited will act as loan and issuer administrator and UMB Bank as Trustee. Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP and Maples and Calder (Cayman) LLP also served as advisors to volofin and the Issuers.
